Barrel #1 - 6yr, 58% Alc/Vol, DIST 2/25/13, BOTT 2/13/20, MB 95/5 – 117btls
On the nose, caramel sauce, vanilla candy, wintergreen, and orange peel with a touch of black peppercorn. On the palate, bold spice takes over in the form of cinnamon and wintergreen as sweeter flavors of caramel and vanilla percolate underneath. The finish is nice with vanilla and caramel up front before quickly transitioning into citrus, cinnamon, wintergreen, and black pepper. A classic spice forward Rye.

On the nose, wintergreen leads with an underbelly of caramel candy, vanilla bean, citrus, and ground cinnamon. On the palate, red berry and citrus lead with a base of wintergreen and vanilla underneath. The finish is lovely with sweeter flavors and spice fading together in unison. A friendly Rye for sipping.

On the nose, rye spice leaps from the glass with caramel, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. On the palate, dehydrated orange segments and wintergreen lead alongside red berry and cinnamon sticks. The finish is solid with fruit fading into Rye and oak spice. A bold and well-structured Rye.

On the nose, wintergreen and cinnamon candy lead with caramel corn, red berry, vanilla wafer, and oak spice underneath. On the palate, Rye spice is in charge with black pepper and hot cinnamon as sweeter flavors linger in the background. The finish is nice and spicy after a small crescendo of sweet berry and citrus at the beginning, before spice arrives for a prolonged ending.

On the nose, hard caramel candies, dark chocolate powder, dill, cinnamon stick, vanilla candy, and anise. On the palate, orange peel and baked apple with wintergreen lead with vanilla and caramel sauce underneath. The finish is lengthy with spice fading into butterscotch and vanilla before cinnamon returns and lingers. Just a gorgeous Rye.

On the nose, cinnamon and vanilla paraffin with mint oil, dark chocolate on toffee-butter, and freshly ground clove. On the palate, mint and dried pear lead with a lush underbelly vanilla cream, caramel wafer, and oak spice. The finish is long and warming with spice outlasting sweet ever so slowly. A gorgeous Rye for sipping neat, dangerously drinkable.

On the nose, vanilla fluff and buttered pear lead, as caramel toffee and cardamom pods follow, with oak flavors supporting. On the palate, oak intensifies into savory baking spice alongside rich rye, as buttered pear and vanilla candy support, with caramel and clove underneath. The finish is rich and layered with oak tannins persisting as a slow fade of sweeter elements fade. A classic, oak forward rye.

On the nose, dried orange and vanilla candy sit up front with mint leaf, as caramel cream and oak spice supports. On the palate, rich caramel and red fruit lead with dried orange, as oak and baking spices support with mint candy. The finish is long and persistent, with citrus and red fruits lingering alongside mint and cinnamon, as other flavors fade. An absolute stunner for fans of robust, yet balanced rye whiskey.

On the nose, mint leaf on caramel cake, vanilla toffee, hard orange candy, milk chocolate, and rich flavors of oak. On the palate, a sweet pop of vanilla candy jumps up front to join red berry and mint leaf, as chocolate wafer and caramel support with intensifying oak spice. The finish is layered and rye spice forward as sweet gives way to lingering dill and clove notes infant of cardamom pods. A dynamic rye whiskey.

On the nose, caramel coated mint candy leads with orange infuse toffee bar, as oak flavors support with baking spice. On the palate, oak flavors join dill and mint up front, as caramel candy and vanilla support, with red berry lingering. The finish is herbal and rich, with mint and dill flavors lingering alongside dried orange segments, as other sweeter flavors fade. A rye lovers rye displaying herbal flavors and citrus up front as sweeter elements support. Classic 95 - 5.
